Kevin O'Connor clearly has some slant against Chris Paul in that video. He's assuming that the offense is slowed down because of Paul when the more obvious assumption would be that the Spurs coaching staff has not prioritized moving more quickly.

Chris Paul has been a gift to the Spurs. I've never seen leadership and experience pay such immediate dividends.

And, I agree with Tom. How the Spurs aren't getting the ball closer to the basket and allowing him to chunk threes is near criminal. It's notable that if you listen closely, Tom doesn't agree with Kevin.

The real culprit here is the coaching staff/Pop. If Pop wanted the team to become faster paced, they would be faster paced. They alluded to it a little bit, but this team has horrible, horrible coaching. The blame start there. And I think Pop is the one who took the killer mentality out of Victor. The difference between him this season and last is night and day.

We need Pop out and I'd prefer a new coaching regime altogether.
