The Spurs front office has continually made nonsensical decisions and non-decisions. It’s definitely time to start over with Pop and Wright and even RC exiting. Pop and RC have been working off past success and obviously no matter who else is on the team, they have final say.

And Pop is 75. He’s been coaching for 25+ years. He’s had a great run and hit the apex, but it’s time for him to not so gracefully step aside.

He himself said that he was set to retire years ago. That’s a clear sign that he was/is mentally done. Now he’s out there just having fun and enjoying himself at whatever pace because it doesn’t matter to him. The Spurs need someone who takes basketball seriously and is focused on winning.
